Thank you for visiting Northern New Jersey Cachers (NNJC), a non-profit geocaching organization. NNJC is one of the most respected geocaching organizations in the country. The purpose of our organization is to promote, communicate and provide general information about the growing sport of geocaching in New Jersey. Please join and become part of the geocaching community in New Jersey. Please register using only your CURRENT GEOCACHING NAME (ID), as it is on geocaching.com, otherwise your name will not be accepted. Please feel free to attend an NNJC event, participate in a hike, and get involved with the organization.  Please let us know what stories, ideas and articles you would like to see featured. On Sunday, November 05, 2006, IMSpider was simply hiking along the cliffs of Garret Mountain and stumbled upon a geocache. Quite by accident he found "The Whole 9 Yards" (GCYMUP) by Vanm. This first geocache intrigued him, and he has since continued, persevering through rain, sleet and snow, finding 10,000 caches.

An IMSpider 10,000 tribute cache has been placed within Mountain Way Park. Come join NNJC as we celebrate IMSpider's 10,000th cache find. We will have a group hike at 9:30 am to find the cache and celebrate this milestone!

There will also be some other new nearby caches in the park which will all be activated the day of the event.

Mountain Way Park 9:00am - 10:00am
Parsippany, NJ

NOTE: If traveling from the South, Mountain Way Road does not go through to Mountain Way Park. When traveling from Grannis Avenue, you must take Meadow Bluff Road then turn onto Mountain Way Road to reach the park.

NNJC Members Corner

Cache of the Month
Because NNJC exists to help promote geocaching in northern New Jersey on behalf of YOU, the GEOCACHERS, we want to make sure you have a voice in YOUR club!

We want to know what caches out there are deserving of designation as NNJC's Cache of the Month. The only criteria are that it has to be located in northern New Jersey, and was placed during that month. Please send all nominations to topcache@nnjc.org, along with a description of your experience and why you feel it's the Cache of the Month.


Photos & Videos
We also want to include your caching photos and videos to highlight your experiences in northern New Jersey. Please send submissions to media@nnjc.org along with a descriptive blurb or caption.
