A SPECIAL CACHE TRIBUTE ~ BE KIND TO EACH OTHER This cache is located in Union Cemetery, Ramsey NJ and is dedicated to Fran Grader, the wife of IMSpider, who lost her battle with a long illness last year. Many of us have know Jon, IMSpider as the dedicated hard driven geocacher out in the field everyday, enjoying in this geocaching sport we all love. But, only a handful of IMSpider's geofriends knew of his struggle to balance everyday life of taking care of a loved one with a terminal illness. IMSpider would cache from dawn and get home before 12-1 pm, to relieve the nurse, then spend the rest of the day sharing his geocaching experiences with Fran. She loved to hear about his geocaching adventures. Fran was always in good spirits even in the last stages of MS. She was gracious and encouraged IMSpider to get out of the house and geocache, as she did not want to be a burden. She wanted Jon to enjoy his life. But her needs were more important as he tried to balance his life around taking care of his wife. One day during their many geocaching conversations, Fran came up with the idea to place a cache at her headstone. She felt this would be a perfect tribute to her husband who dedicated his life to caring for her needs. IMSpider agreed with pride and admiration, knew that her wish would needed to be fulfilled one day. Fran lost her battle in late 2009. In keeping with a good sense of pride and humor Jon honored Fran's wishes by placing this cache along with his spider avatar etched on the stone. This cache is dedicated to IMSpider and his loving wife Fran, who's last sentiments to Jon were this cache name, "Be kind to each other" which speaks volumes to everyone to reflect upon.
