NNJC launched the popular Duke Farms Geo-trail in 2012. Geocachers who complete the trail receive a token featuring the logo at left. In February 2013, NNJC hosted a "Geo-Academy" at the beautiful Farm Barn Orientation Center. Featuring presentations, guided caching expeditions, and demonstration tables, this event attracted over 150 visitors of all ages. Duke Farms serves as a model of environmental stewardship and inspires visitors to become informed stewards of the land. It is a place of education, enjoyment and research that enhances the environmental health of the region. Through the beauty of its natural setting, the diversity of its wildlife, and the scope and quality of its educational programs, demonstrations and research, Duke Farms inspires people to start building a more sustainable future.

In cooperation with GSWA staff, NNJC assists with boardwalk and kiosk construction projects in addition to helping maintain the existing trail system. Over the last three years, NNJC has participated in a Bio-Blitz at Great Swamp NWR
and hosted numerous geocaching events, the most delightfully spooky of which is the night-time, family-fun Halloween "Fright Hike." The GSWA is dedicated to protecting and improving water resources in the region by monitoring local streams, advocating for intelligent land use, and educating our communities about water quality and quantity and their effect on the health and natural beauty of the local environment. The Association serves as an important environmental
resource for individuals, organizations and governmental entities.

Founded in 1897, and one of the oldest independent Audubon societies, New Jersey Audubon has no connection with the National Audubon Society. New Jersey Audubon fosters environmental awareness and a conservation ethic among New Jersey's citizens; protects New Jersey's birds, mammals, other animals, and plants, especially endangered and threatened species; and promotes preservation of New Jersey's valuable natural habitats.

The Division is the steward of the historic homes, landscapes and battlefields where George Washington and the Continental Army spent almost half of the American Revolutionary War. Part of the Department of Environmental Protection, the Division is committed to the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of park visitors and the protection of the state's natural, cultural, and historic resources.

In partnership with Franklin Township, NNJC is launched a new geotrail at the Griggstown Native Grassland Preserve on 10/27/13. After completing the geotrail, all geocachers will receive the token seen at left. The trail system in the Griggstown area covers 376 acres, but these trails connect to other trails that transverse the entire length of the 685-acre Ten Mile Run Greenway. The site contains both 102 acres of open fields and 583 acres of woodland. Historically, the fields were row crops but more recently the property was used as a horse farm. A map and rules and regulations of the 5.4-mile trail system may be downloaded as a PDF file by clicking here.
